2 Days Inca Trail- Pocpoc Waterfall – Pisac

You can not miss this adventure of inca Trail to sacred valley that connect to Machupicchu with a very pleasant and not challenging option journey that combines, original Inca Trail, nature, sacred mountains and wáter fall with great views of the mountain and valleys. Taking you off the beaten paths and all the crowds of the more popular treks, yet still immersing fully into all the amazing things Peru has to offer. So this trek is perfect for those with a short time frame, an alternative non-commercial option, or who are just looking for an easier trekking route.

Itinerary

DAY 1: CHINCHERO – WATERFALL OF POCPOC – PISAC – CHINCHERO.

This trek will begin from the Hotel picking you up and then we drive you to the begining of the inca Trail.

Our local guide will let us know about all net work of routes and beautiful incan terraces of Chinchero where you will enjoy the spectacular view of the Vilcanota ridge on the opposite side of the Urubamba (small village in the heart of the Sacred Valley) where the impressive Veronica peak reigns at 5832 meters above sea level. Not to mention the diversity of wild flora and fauna that can be found all along the valley. Descend down an original Inca trail with the snow-capped Chicon and Pitusaray Mountains in the background.

A small detour will take you to the Poc Poc waterfall, a perfect place to take a break and refresh. Today will also be the most impressive and the most interesting as your journey from the heights and descend to the heart of the Sacred Valley of the incas enjoying and getting a deep experience of hiking the classic inca trail.

Continuing you will approach Urquillos, another town occupied by the incas and the land of the best field of corn. From where you will get our Vehicule to arrive to Pisac, explore the market and site of Pisac and in the afternoon we return to the hotel.
