Itinerary
ITIRENARY:
- This tour of the Sacred Valley will start early and head to the land of the rainbow of Chinchero, famous for its weaving and spectacularly sited at high altitude (3,800m/12,500 ft.)
- We will have opportunity to visit the local families to receive a demonstration on dyeing and weaving techniques from Incan time, then we are going to visit the famous Chinchero market and from that.
- We descend to the base of the Sacred Valley and then to Ollantaytambo, which features an impressive set of terraces leading from the village centre.
- So after Ollantaytambo we will go to Urubamba (lunch no Included) before heading to Pisaq – the last site of the day. In Pisaq we will see the largest terraces, built with breathtaking audacity by the Incas and later on we go to the market at Pisaq before returning to Cusco.
- There will be enough time to stroll around these magnificent ruins before being driven back to your hotel..
